High School Of The Dead

This is a anime all about zombies, girls, weapons. This anime start off in Japan in the day and is very good with there fights but every 20 seconds you get boobs in your face. Theres not a lot of amines about zombie's when you think about it zombies have been very main stream, and it was very desponding because with the story and stay of anime they could do a lot more then TV shows and movies. Back to High School Of The Dead they makers could have made it more serious but they were think guys have dicks and dick like boobs so we just give them boobs every 20 seconds but the anime is very good and has a good story line give it a chance and watch.

Takashi Komuro

Takashi Komuro (小室孝，Komuro Takashi) is the main protagonist of the series. He is a high school second-year and the leader of the main group of survivors from Fujimi Academy. He is a childhood friend of both Saya Takagi and Rei Miyamoto, and while he has strong feelings of love for Rei he has also shares intimate feelings for Saeko Busujima as well. Takashi is not a very skilled fighter, but it has been shown that he can handle a gun because of Kohta Hirano. He is also shown to have good leadership skills, which often hold his group together in dire situations.Takashi has been friends with Saya since they were in Kindergarten.^[4] Although Rei is a year older than Takashi, he was best friends with her from the time they were both small children. Rei made a promise to marry him when they were children,^[5] but, due to Takashi's inability to admit his feelings for her, she turned her attention away from him and towards Hisashi instead. Shortly before the Outbreak, Rei began dating Hisashi, and Takashi, realizing he had waited too long, was sad that Rei chose Hisashi over him.

Rei Miyamoto

Rei Miyamoto (宮本麗, Miyamoto Rei) is a classmate and childhood friend of Takashi Komuro, and they've known each other since kindergarten. She is also a protagonist of the story, next to Takashi Komuro and Saeko Busujima. Rei is a member of the Sojutsu club, and her combat skills have proven to be a strong asset to the group. She fights with a spear made from a broomstick, but, later in the story, she uses a M1A1 Rifle with a bayonet attached. In the anime, Rei is voiced by Marina Inoue and Jessica Boone.When she was in kindergarten with Takashi, she made a pinky promise with him that, when they grow up, they will marry each other. Despite always harboring a deep affection for Takashi, his constant reluctance caused her to give up on him and date one of his friends, Hisashi. Although she was dating Hisashi, she never got over Takashi and still always liked him, despite their friendship appearing totally ruined to their friends. Although Rei is supposed to be a senior along with Saeko, she was held back a year since her father was the police officer in charge of investigating her teacher's father. That teacher is known as Koichi Shido, who is cruel and ruthless. As some sort of revenge for having his father investigated by Rei's father, he forced her to repeat the whole year. Since then, she has held a grudge against him.

Saeko BusujimaSaeko Busujima (毒島冴子, Busujima Saeko) is a student at Fujimi High School, a member of the survivor group led by Takashi Komuro and the daughter of Master Busujima. Before the apocalypse, she was in her Third year and was also captain of the Kendo Club at Fujimi High School. In the group, Saeko is considered the most reliable of all fighters, and everyone can count on her combat skills to pull them through a tough spot if need be. Like Rei, Saeko is an athletic fighter and talented combat specialist whose forte is in melee attacks. She is one of the reasons why the protagonists have managed to survive as far as they have. At the beginning of the series, she uses a bokken wooden sword that she used to fight "Them" with, but she was later given a sword by Souichiro Takagi

 

to fight "Them".Four years prior to the story, Saeko was attacked by a man on her way home one night; however, she was able to easily overpower the man since she had her wooden sword with her. After severely injuring the man, the police released her due to the circumstances, but the events of that night left Saeko with a profound revelation.
She discovered a sadistic side to herself that enjoyed inflicting pain and suffering. It is also implied that at some point in the past she had liked a boy. But she was never able to tell him how she felt, feeling that her dark side meant that she did not deserve to confess her feelings.


 

Saya Takagi

Saya Takagi (高城沙耶, Takagi Saya) is one of the main characters in Highschool of the Dead. Saya is a genius, and her high level of intellect is her major contribution to the group, though it often causes her to be stubborn and arrogant. She usually stays out of combat, preferring to think of strategies to help the others fight. However, this changes when the group prepares to leave the police station.Before the main events of the story, it is shown that Saya has been childhood friends with Takashi since kindergarten and possibly may have feelings for him. However, Takashi seemingly does not return these feelings, leading one to believe that Takagi is in fact the only female member of the group in Takashi's age range who he is not involved with on a romantic level. Kohta Hirano asked her out multiple times, but was turned down without a second thought. She also did this with Morita, ignoring him completely each of the three times he tried to talk to her. It is assumed that Saya was part of the swimclub under a teacher that later attacked her as one of "them" during the initial Outbreak.

Shizuka Marikawa

Shizuka Marikawa (鞠川静香, Marikawa Shizuka) is one of the main characters in Highschool of the Dead and is the only adult in the group. Shizuka's main contributions to the group are her medical skills and extensive medical knowledge. She also serves as the adult figure and takes care of Alice Maresato and the others whenever she is needed to do so. In the anime, Shizuka is voiced by Yukari Fukui and Monica Rial.

Kohta Hirano

Kohta Hirano (平野コータ, Hirano Kōta) is one of the main characters in Highschool of the Dead. Kohta is an excellent marksman with many different types of guns, but he usually uses the AR-10 Rifle which has been remodeled in the style of a Knight's SR-25 Sniper Rifle. He also collects various weapons and ammunition for the group during their travels.Before the start of the series, Kohta went on a month-long trip to America where he was trained by the US military contractor Blackwater USA which furthered his obsession over weapons. When Kohta attended school he was constantly bullied by classmates in Koichi Shido's classes where instead of helping Kohta out, Shido encouraged the bullying. This led to Kohta holding in feelings of frustration and anger towards Shido.

Alice Maresato

Alice Maresato (希里ありす, Maresato Arisu), is one of the main characters of Highschool of the Dead. She is formally introduced in Chapter 8, but in Episode 7 in the anime. Due to her young age, she currently doesn't have any weapons at her disposal, although she was given firecrackers by Asami Nakaoka to distract "Them".
